What's not to love in designing a hotel in MAURITIUS?

I had the opportunity of designing the Ocean V hotel. This project was very challenging due to its location - it is not a 'pieds dans l'eau' property. I had to create a unique and attractive Program for the hotel. So I decided to create a rooftop experience that overlooks an outstanding 360 view. I created a unique experience for the clients seeking a new, modern perspective of the beautiful island of Mauritius. Ocean V hotel was one of the most fun projects I've ever designed. 

The interior reflects the modern evolution of the Client's hospitality group while incorporating some local elements, materials and colors to keep the design in context with the surroundings.
